Piedra Negra Argentinian Organic Pinot Gris

Jason Bowyer, ALDI Wine Buyer’s tasting notes:

From Andes Mountains in Argentina, this is a light to medium-bodied organic Pinot Gris. The wine is fully certified Organic from the foothills of the Andes Mountains, and is made from 20 year old vines.

The cool mountain air and the stoney gravels of the Andes produce wines with elegance and intensity.

Full of lime, lemon, and white flower flavours on the palate with a fresh persistent finish.

Pair with: Tapas, Melon & Iberico ham salad, cucumber veloute with ginger.

Nerissimo Verdeca IGP Puglia 2019 ($9.99)

Nerissimo Verdeca Igp Puglia 2019

Jason Bowyer, ALDI Wine Buyer’s tasting notes:

From one of Italy’s most awarded wine producers, San Marzanno. Verdeca is a green wine of the Puglia region, located in the heel of Italy. Expect notes of white flowers, white stone fruits, grapefruit, citrus, mineral fruits, and a dash of oak to add complexity and texture. This is a super yummy wine and is a variety that will be unknown to many, so be quick.

Pair with: Oysters, shellfish, and seafoods
