Today we are excited to launch our partnership with Jamie Durie’s new content project, Groundswell. Jamie Durie’s Groundswell aims to change the way people connect with global environmental issues. In each episode, Jamie looks at what corporations and industry are doing to change the planet for the better.

In the latest episode of Groundswell, Jamie meets with industry experts to discuss sustainability and the environmental issues facing the supermarket industry. We acknowledge that while we are part of the problem, we can also be the solution. The episode highlights some of the ways ALDI has already made a difference, such as by never offering our customers single use plastic bags. ALDI Australia’s Corporate Responsibility Director, Daniel Baker, also talks about the future and the plans we have to become more sustainable. Jamie also visits our battery recycling partner, MRI, to see just how the batteries that ALDI collects are recycled.
